Anyone here use a redfield scope?

Looking at adding different glass to the yote gun and am wondering if anyone here has had any good or bad experiences with the Redfield scopes in particular the 6 - 18 X 44

I bought one in 3-9x50 and returned it...for an equivelant price I would and did stick with my Nikons...think they are clearer and brighter..

I have two redfield scopes, one on my 257 Wby and the other on my 300 win mag. I have had absolutely no problems with either one. they are made by leupold and they have a bullet proof warranty and great customer service. I plan on getting another one for my 243 win.

I have 3 rifles I hunt with and all three have the same redfield scope on them and they always will.

Jingles...Have a qualifier...All my Redfield are old, 3, are still performing well from the 60's....At that time they were the best you could buy.....Optics have really changed since then........................There are a lot better out there, but costly.

Sounds like a plus from above members...Outdoor Life rates optics now and then maybe you could locate one of those copies (Best BUY for the $)

bought the 3x9x50 and love it ! My only problem with it was it would not clear the barrel on my one 25-06 so I put it on my other. Would buy another one, great clarity and great price.
