I have the wildfire i get 3 hours on a set of batteries (duracell and energizer) with 30 degrees out. When the volume is on ten the green light flashes and it shuts off. When i play it on a lower volume like 7 it is fine. Is the batteries to low to play on volume 10? I put the batteries in my game cam and it says 50% good. I have 5 sets of these batteries all at 50% i guess i save them for my cameras. Should i get nihm rechargeable batteries will this help me out?

I have been using these batteries for the last year and they have perfomed great. I my Shockwave I can get over 8 hours of solid calling at high volume and still have battery left.

The higher you crank the volume, the more power you need to feed that amp. If your call starts sounding tinny at volume, you are under driving the amp/speakers.
It's all about the batteries fellas. I have to say, for 30 bucks, you can't beat the 2500MaH niMh batteries and the plug in charger from foxpro. |

Use chemical heat packs to keep your batteries warm. Walmart usually has a lot left over after after hunting seasons and they mark them down. Buy them now and they'll still be good next year.
