I was a visitor. owned the place for 15yrs. and really sad that I sold it. I spent 2yrs living there while getting my health back in order. I envy you, especially now with all this heat and high humidity.

Just checking if my Encore T/C was still on -----only 3 shot group at 50 yds but still tells that my Weaver T-6 is still holding on---------sb---------p.s. 24 gr imr-4320 haven't found 8208 yet---------ya got to love the 17 Rem

This reply is a little late, given the date started, but worthy info none the less...
I had a 17 Remington fireball, took a fair bit of back and forth to work on a load that it liked to shoot, and eventually came up with 19 Grns ADI bench mark 2 pushing a 20 Grn V-max....
This group of 4 was shot at 150 metres at my range.....

Got my 17 Remington in CZ 527 Varmint finally , been messing with 8208 and 25gr Hornady. She's a shooter

Nosler brass, IMR 8208 XBR, 25 Berger, Federal 205M, 2.150". 23.6 grains.

Now that's moving a 25gr. bullet, SD are looking real good. Do you mind sharing how many grs. of 8208 and seating length. 25gr. Bergers Hmmm, holding up at that velocity interesting I blew quite a few bullets (others) up pushing them that fast may have to look into Berger 25's.
Have you had any real world experience connecting bullet to fur of any type?
I have sent a couple 25gr. bullets into red fox at that speed kinda like shooting a pop can with a 30-06 you can't find enough pieces to sew back tougher.
