.22 mag options.

I absolutely love .22 mag for predators, looking to buy a new .22 mag sometime soon. I have been looking at some so far I am looking at the ruger american in 22 mag I was just wondering how it would be with farther shots with different rounds how the accuracy would be? I am really picky with .22 mags & I am pretty set with a bolt action, also was really looking at the model 547 remington custom shop rimfire in 22 mag, I love remington & like how it's close to the model 700, wondering if anyone has one & how they like it? Was also wondering if anyone has a volquartsen I am really liking those as well. I want really good accuracy, Don't mind if it's a little heavy.

Check the CZ .22 Magnum and the Anshultz...I've got a Savage Model 93 and it shoots pretty good.Im thinking I'm using the Hornady 35 grain bullets in it?

I have an Anschutz 164M, a Sako Quad, and a Ruger American. I love all three of them and especially the first two. The Anschutz and Sako love the Win. 40gr. hp's, while the Ruger likes the Hornady 30's. When I say loves/likes I'm talking .75 or better at 100yds.
Those Rem 547 are really sweet. I'd like to have one in 22lr. someday.

I'd look Hard at the CZ's. I have a model CZ 452 and love it. Accuracy is awesome and, I Am a true lover of the 22 mag.
As far as Remington these days, blah, I won't be buying anything made from them in the past 10 years or more. Just not sure the quality is there anymore I'm...

I don't them anymore, but if I had to I would definitely use CCI Stinger hp and try to keep shots 75yds and under shooting from a rest.

I use winchester 40 grain power point they shoot great in my .22 lr & I have killed a few coyotes & 4 bobcats & over 100 fox this past winter. longest shot on a cat being 145 yards shot placement & good bullets is key if using a .22.
