Am I expecting too much from my .17 hornet??

But being that most shots will be 100 yards or so I don't see it being an issue. If it doesn't perform up to expectations il probly dump it and get a 17 rem for next year. My buddy will be testing a 17 rem this season.

Anyone have any comments on the 25 gr bullets and coyotes. Someone should have shot some by now with this combination?

I haven't had a chance to shoot one with my hornet yet but I'm certain it will get the job done. I'm shooting 23 gr wcd bullets at a pretty modest pace. I'll post results after gun week is over and I can get back out.
