Default Big Yote duped in the wind

We have been blasted by heard winds for the last few days here in Ohio & I've been going crazy waiting for the right conditions to use my new Predator rig. When I got to the farm wind changed directions & was howling straight out of the West blowing my plans for the set I had in mind. My thinking was they have to eat sooner or later and decided to take a blind next to an old chicken coop to get out of the wind setting the decoy & caller straight out in front.
About 3o minutes into the set I switched to a groundhog distress call and watched as a pair made a direct approaching trot about 4oo yards straight at me! This was my first hunt with my new rifle, decoy & spitfire so was about to bust waiting for the big male to give me the shot - the female short cut and started to circle wide but the big male kept his direct path before I stopped him at 165 yards with the 5o grain Hornady.

Good going! I've been seeing more photos of coyotes with those stripes on the front legs. It seems to be a regional (midwest) thing.

Nice coyote. When you don't get that feeling like you are going to burst when one is coming in, it is time to quit.
