The "big kid kennel" is located intentionally where they will get a lot of passer by vehicles and etc, and people (who are trained to not respond in any way to their noises). I also intentionally give them banging and clanging, small engines, and etc, usually suddenly and without warning, but also without any emotion from me. "No big deal" kind of attitude. They acclimate. I don't do gun training at this age, but I've never had an owner have any difficulty at all with gun training. They're conditioned to reflect the human's response. Everything about them is reflected off the human. You'll see it. They'll be startled by something, and they'll look at me to see how I'm responding, then they'll respond in kind.
