Default need some help on diaphram calls

look for some pro advise on the diaphragm calls, should the diaphragm call sit flat in the roof of your mouth cause mine seems like the sides of the call run down the sides of my teeth and I think its causing the call to get two ripples in the back of it that's not allowing the call to seal completely on the roof of my mouth and how far back should the call be in your mouth I tried to cut little by little to try to get it to fit right doesn't seem to be working any advise will be greatly appreciated I love the calls and can get great sounds out of them but it seems like once the ripples start in the rear my howls brake up
