Default Pistol grip shotguns

Setting up a 20 gauge 870 for a youth hunter for spring turkey and she really wants to do coyotes next season as well. Any pros/cons to running a pistol grip stock on a shotgun for predators?

All prows no cons.
870 super express 12 gauge.

Steorger 3500 12 gauge.
I use them for birds, water fowl, and coyotes.

Thank you for the pictures and the input! This kid is beyond excited to hunt and I want to make sure she enjoys it with a stock that fits her well.
