I made a new foxcast sequence while my shockwave was plugged into my computer, so I could reference what calls were what numbers. After I completed the sequence and put it into the sound file I unplugged the caller from my computer. I wanted to test out the sequence but when I went to turn my caller on it would not. A red light would quickly flash as the screen would when it turns on but it would never do anything past that. I changed the batteries and still nothing. Anybody else have this problem or maybe a solution?

Shockwave does not turn on
Make sure that you have fresh batteries installed or try replacing the batteries. If you have recently replaced your batteries, check to make sure that one has not been installed backwards. If you are using rechargeable batteries, make sure they are fully charged. If you have been using rechargeable batteries for a number of years, try replacing them with regular alkaline batteries to see if the unit reacts differently. Inspect your battery holder and make sure the springs are not compressed or corroded, as this can lead to poor battery connectivity. Also check for rust or any substance that could be causing poor connectivity. If the unit has been stored or used in a hot environment, the internal temperature may have risen above the high-temperature cutoff threshold of 50°C/120°F or higher. Allow the unit to cool off and try operating it again. If that doesn't solve the problem call support at: 1-717-248-2507 (select option 2) |
