So after debate I purchased a dpms oracle in 223 for night hunting. So far the rifle seems to shoot well using federal 50 gr varmit and predator ammo . So anyone out there use one of these for hunting? Trying to decide if I want to accessorize ie free float the barrel, after market trigger, ect. Figuring being I'm mostly night hunting I figure max range would be 125 yards tops. Input appreciated

You say it shoots well. What's your group like? For shooting out to 125 yds. I don't think you need to free float the barrel. A good scope and light trigger pull. A descent light preferably switch activated.

I shoot the orical also. I pretty much have changed out every part, just my own preference on things. I have taken coyotes with it out to 300 yards.

Cmc trigger in mine and a co whiteness reflex sight works good. 250 yards on scope no problem and under 50 red dot. 55 grain fiochee ammo. Trigger took me about 30 minutes to put in myself
