Default Doubel Your Pleasure

I killed this pair at the baitpile last night, but they were actually coming to some howls I had made using the sound from a manufacturer that we can't mention on here. Anyway, made the howls on the FoxPro and then checked the field with my Super Yoter.

They were coming from the downwind side and couldn't have been more than a couple hundred yards in the woods. I dumped the bigger one first at 165 yds. The smaller one which I figured was a female turned out to be just a smaller male. He ran a short distance and stopped. I rushed the shot and missed. He ran a little further and stopped again. This time the bullet found it's mark and I had two DRT's. First big male fell in a dry ditch, second male was about 220 yds. on the killshot. It was a tough night for thermal with intermittent rain.

Optical photographic illusion. The smaller one was the lower in the picture with the drag still in his mouth, but the picture makes them look almost similar in size.

I don't think I would have gotten the second coyote without being suppressed and certainly wouldn't have gotten a second shot at him. It seems like the suppressed sound confuses them as to where it is coming from. Thermal video degrades pretty badly on high humidity nights and in this case with intermittent rain.

Thanks for the response. The sound maker that I said I wasn't supposed to mention was for another forum. MFK has great sounds that play exclusively now on FoxPro units. The sound was MFK Blackout Howls.
