Default Just a reminder

I see multiple folks posting across the web about having problems with their callers at higher volumes lately. 99% of the time it is due to battery choice or condition. The weather is COLD in most of the country and cold sucks the life out of batteries. Use freshly charged NiMH or rechargeable Lithium batteries.

A battery tester is invaluable. Even the best rechargeable batteries eventually need to be replaced.

Use batteries that are recommended for your caller, keep them charged and in good condition and get out there and shoot straight. (also, don't forget your camera)

I have 3 sets of rechargeable batteries for my call, always have atleast one set on a charger in my truck and a fresh set in my pack. It's been cold this last week or so, replaced batteries twice Saturday morning just to be safe. Temps where 0 and below in the morning.
