Default My new record on stand.

So I went out with my AR recently chambered in seventeen tactical with great expectations and had a stand to remember. I had already located a group in a usual hot spot and went in quite. After setting quite for a few minutes until dark I started out with lucky bird. It wasn't 30 seconds until I had several sets of eyes heading in my directions. I started counting, 1,2,3,4,5,6....I thought I was losing it, but 7,8 were in trail. Once the first one nearly ran me over and veered off, the rest stopped. I shot the first one at 15 feet. It yipped spun and dropped, and the fox bang did it's job. The rest of the coyote froze and I began shooting. I shot four total, but could not retrieve the last one. I emptied my five round clip and still had two watching the show.

First triple is something you'll never forget. Good news is you'll like your second or third triple just as much. Kudos to you on a job well done.

Very nice job it's one helluva deal to put down that many in one stand! I haven't been that fortunate yet haven't even killed my first double yet. One's here haul ass after the first dog dies. That's why I am using an AR a bit this winter won't quit using my old school bolt action though.

It would have been better if I had found the fourth one. I watched him drop but I was in cut CRP grass and just couldn't find him.
