Kinda looks like one. Sure is a beautiful fox I would get that full body mounted.

Have any fox farms around ??--25-50 miles---Looks to me its a Glacier fox [color phase]---but could be wild with the gene's---Beautiful no matter what----Mount or tan that beauty---sb

No fox farm that I am aware of. It's got to be some one pet I am thinking but who knows. My taxidermist said also looks like a artic fox he never say anything like that around here. He mounts everything all over the world and never see anything like that in pa.

can't say I have ever seen one that color.sure is pretty.I'd like to see that in a full body mount

I'd say def a silver fox...I posted a video of one on here from Walter Nature Reserve in Murraysville, PA a while back. Although, when I just searched the video again, in the videos description it says it was an escapee from a breeder, and was filmed in the wild...I do not recall reading that when I originally posted it. There is supposedly one that has frequented a farm that I hunt. I have never seen it personally but it has been said to have been caught on trail camera by others. I do know near that same farm, what I would call a cross fox, was trapped. My taxidermist, who is also a good friend, did the mount. There are no fox farms anywhere near this area. But fox can travel a ways so who knows. I think the silver fox is one of the coolest looking creatures.Your friend is a lucky guy.. Here is a picture of the "cross" fox that was trapped.
