23.6 grains of 8208, col 2.150" , fed 205m primer and Nosler brass. I haven't shot any coyotes yet but bullets are shooting really good.

24 grains shot real good too but thought I better slow her down a little . This is out of a factory CZ 527 Varmint, 24.2 grains is book max load.

Impressive, I'm going to have to put IMR 8208 to the test. 24.2 is max with an advertised velocity 4,072 what ever your doing it's working great. I have some Berger 25gr. #17308 is this the same bullet that your using? I'm pulling my 17 Rem. out of hibernation and see if she like IMR8208.
As far as the velocity goes I burned a factory remington barrel out some where between 700-800 rounds (4120fps) shot good one week the next time out it started key holing I was told thats what 17's do.

I have the fed. 205m and IMR 8208 in stock only difference is I'm going to use Remington brass and a re-barreled Remington action. Hopefully I can give you some results next week.
I did have a bushing installed into the bolt face as the Fed. primers almost always extruded into the firing pin hole, Rem. 7 1/2 Br's are a little better extrusion wise but not as consistent as the Federals in SD's.

WOW!!! Spinner, that is impressive accuracy and speed. Especially the speed. I run 23.9 gr of 8208 but with Rem. 7 1/2 primers and a 25 gr. Nagel. Accuracy is excellent, but I don't know the speed. Guess I need to buy another Chronograph.

I just got done loading up some test loads for the TC Encore 17 Remington (26" MGM bbl)

All loads loaded with Hornady 25gr HP.

Trying some IMR-4895:
22.0/22.3/22.6/22.9/23.2////23.5 MAX.

I also have some testers loaded with Varget and, also H335. Forgot what loads for the last two powder's?

These were the only powders I had on hand to try in the 17 Rem.

Hope to hit the range Tue.

Happy Huntin/Shootin!!!

Ok had a chance to get out this past Saturday and try the IMR 8208, had mixed results shot well in one rifle and not so well in a friends 17 Rem. The factory Remington didn't care for them but seems to love 25gr. v-max with ball powder. The other rifle has 1-9 Lilja barrel and seemed to like it very well, under a 1/2 would be a safe bet I pulled the targets but they never made it home.
Going to try some Rem. 7 1/5 primers in the factory rifle next. keep you posted on the results.

Default 17 Rem

My AR15 in 17 Rem loves Varget and 25gr Bergers.
