Coyote inc.,
Where did you get that stock? Did it come with the rifle or did you have that done?
I just bought the model 12, and would like to do something different with the stock. It came with the H.S. precision stock, and thought about a giraffe print or something wild.

Just bought yesterday and have a BSA 6 X 40 X 40 to go on her and take the Reddot off and put it on my turkey shotgun. Its a DPMS in 223 Cal and shoots sweet. Now I'm trying to find the right load for her.

Default Painted guns

Denis1227, I did the stock on the 204 myself with sand colored texture paint and then some brown on top of that. Pretty easy to do. Just cut out a stencil, I used and actual camo pattern found on the internet, and just lay it over each side of the stock, this gives a nice feather look at top and bottom. Here is a DPMS Sporticle with the same design with added splash of green. Once the stencil is cut, it can be used over and over. You can also use grass and brush to create your own camo paint job, simply paint the stock green, lay a thick bladed grass and brush over the dryed paint and spray tan, let that dry then remove some grass and brush and spray a third color (maybe a lighter shade of green). This works well also.

Alphadog,
My favorite yote gun is my r-15, with the stainless VTR barrel. I just purchased the savage model 12 LRPV in a .223. I am working up loads now for it, this will probably be my favorite after this year. HEAVY, but an sweet shooter. Great groups out to 200 yards.
I highly suggest this rifle to anyone.

Remington 700 in .204. Got the gun, 200 rounds of brass and projectiles, 2 boxes of .32 gr Vmax, and 2 boxes of .40 gr Vmax for $350! No scope. I got the scope at a Salvation Army. It's a cheap Simmons 3x9x50. It was brand new and I got it for $12.50! I was gonna eventually trade it out with something nicer...but it works awesome so I haven't done it. Painted it all up myself...
