Default Oct. 30th Goat

Well after 50km/31 miles hiked in 3 days my friend and I connected on 2 goats. Here is my monster 9.5inch goat. He has 5.5 inch bases and aged at 8 years old. One shot with my 35 whelen at 363 yards dropped him in his tracks. After his muscles relaxed he had about a 60 foot fall. It was a 6.2 mile hike out mostly in the dark. The snow was coming down hard and we fallowed fresh grizz tracks out with a couple piles of steaming poop along the way. By far the most work I have put in for an animal. At the taxi getting a half mount done. Should look great with his nice long winter coat.

WOOHOO!!! That's an awesome goat. You really earned it. Glad that Griz didn't ambush you along the trail.

It was in British Columbia Canada where I live. Just north of elkford. Unreal place to hunt. BC is number one in my eyes for north american hunting. We have everything. Stop at the store buy a tag and go hunting.
