+1 ON THE OUCH.

If you can get 1 inch or better at 100yrds, you have a coyote killing machine.
Shooting off a bench, and the real deal are two different things.
I set up 3 full size coyote targets, any where from 120 to 60yrds, and practice moving from one target to the next from a stool and bi-pod, just like a real hunting situation. This has helped me more than anything else.

And you sir are an idiot or a lier. Perhaps a mix. Offense meant. If you're shooting .4's and .3's with most factory rifles, you're shooting your groups at 25 yards and not 100 yards. There are some fantastic shooting factory rifles, but the internet experts would lead you to believe they're far more common than what really exists. I've probably owned and or fired more target rifles than you've ever seen in your life.

Easy guys. Please keep the insults to a minimum or I'll have to lock this down.

I didn't insult the original poster in any way. My comment was made at the person who made the insult to me directly above my post. That's why I quoted his comments. Where did I insult varminter 223, the guy asking for help? I was pointing out his 1" rifle wasn't bad shoot by any means and not to believe every 1/2" rifle posted about on the net.
