Default Thompson Center VS. Rem r15

I no the Thompson Center venture Predator hasnt came out yet and you guys might not know to much about it but im need opinions on what to get. I priced out a the predator they are around 650 and the rem r15 1100 but beside the hole price difference. I have heard the r15 sometimes have firing pin problems. anything you would have to say would be helpful thank you.

That depends on your budget? Personally I have used everything from Weatherby to Remington, Ruger, all have been bolt actions and have been satified until I purchased an Stag 6L AR 15. The AR is versatile and you can trick it up to do just about anything. I looked at the R15 and was not inpressed with the quality of workmanship. The Stag comes with a lifetime warranty and is guaranteed 1/2" MOA out of the box. Just my 2 cents worth.... gunner

Burning shells is half the fun, as long as you have critters to show for it. its all about disipline for me.

My Stag is chambered in 5.56, that way I can shoot 5.56 or .223 and not worry. So far I love this gun and I am very impressed with its accuracy. I shoot Hornady 55gr.Vmax.

I paid $935.00 + tax and $20.00 shipping for mine at a local gun club. Look around at your local gun shops and see if they will order you one.
