Default 1st night coyote

used my new Flir PTS233 for 1st time to get this young looking female, had to use 22LR due to proximity of neighbors, but she dropped with a head shot.

Oddly though, my new scope crashed with the muzzle flash, totally went dead, lost the kill shot video, seemed like the muzzle flash was more than the sensor could take, even with a 22.

a previous night shot produced a visible cloud of heat when I shot, but did not turn off, I do not see this happen in centerfire shots in posted videos?

kind of a bummer!

Anyone ever had a similar problem?
