Default Whats your take on hot July calling?

The pups are out by now, I've seen a few swished on the roads.
I have found then fairly easy to call in July even the adult dogs.
The very honest part of the day slows way down. we head home at around 3 or 4 pm.

I got out yesterday but it was 102 degrees. I couldn't convince myself to leave the comfort of my air conditioned Jeep. I'm waiting until September before I go again.

I like hunting nights on the hot months but where I’m at uncut hay fields are an issue, I had a pack of 7 coyotes answering me about 300 yards on the other side of a field a couple nights back I could see their eyes but they would not come through that tall grass they just paced the fence howling and yipping.

14% humidity here in July no ticks.
But the black flies will drink your blood fast too.
