Muzzleloading season I was using my came call hoping a buck would come in grunting and such. This doe shows up it looked like she was looking for the buck she thought was there. Has anyone ever called a doe before or did it just look that way. By the way I took the doe home with me she will eat as good as any.

We have called in MANY does when we have been calling coyotes. They come right up to the call and stomp at it.
Coyote sounds or pup in distress. Just today I was out deer hunting, bucks only, and I "Kissed" in 13 does in one group up to under 50 yards. No camo, no blind, just laying in short grass with my hunters orange on to boot.

So my last name is Doe. It hasn't affected my life much apart from occasionally being called "Dodo" while growing up or friends spelling it "D'Oh" as a joke, and I'm generally pretty neutral about it. My wife is six months pregnant and wants to name our future son after her grandfather, who died of cancer in September. His name was Kodi nox John.
