I use a fiberglass trappers packbasket to carry everything. I made a lid for it out of plywood and use it to sit on. works great, everything is on your back and your hands are free

I agree with night eyes . your calling should tell a story, the story should make sense to the coyote. that's the best you can do because you never know what they are thinking for sure.

that's not really that much snow. keep calling. especially in thick cedar swamps or stands of pine. once snow gets a crust on top they can move with no problem.

I used to live in Michigans Upper Penninsula and hunted the thick woods and cedar swamps a lot. mostly used a shotgun. one thing I did that helped a lot was to set the caller about 30 or 40 yards...

im going to be in Nebraska third week of march and will have a couple of days free. was wondering if I need to get a hunting license to hunt coyote and if so how much does a nonresident license cost.

sometimes you can come back a few hours later and play some type of hurt coyote sounds and they will come in. often they come back looking for the coyote that got shot.
