    Noticed you are getting settled in Central Washington and are wondering about the effects the GRAY COYOTES are going to have as another large predator.
    I live in North central WA up in the Winthrop Area and can say they are having all kinds of negative effects on the Mule deer population regardless what WDFW says.
    Ever get up this way give me a shout and we'll get together and discus yotes, Lions, Bobbies and Gray Coyotes.
    A lot of people up this way, (less the PITA know it all's) feel there are 2 types of coyotes, Coyote minor which are smaller in size and normally tan to brown in color, where you salvage the animal and sell the fur and Coyote Major normally gray to black in color much larger than Coyote minor and are left in the field for the carrion to dispose of
