Hi all,im new here.I recieved a Foxpro Spitfire for Christmas:D,and would like to know how far can you be from the speaker for it to operate?.
I hope that this?is in the rite place:confused:.Thanks pan.:)

It says 100 + yard under the splitfires description on the home page.

You can expect average distances to be from between 100-250 yards, depending on the conditions. If you elevate the caller up out of the brush, you will get increased range. The better the line of sight, the further you can be from it. Hope this helps!

i know FX 3 is suppose to be 100 yds does it work the same way, elevated you reach farther? How far?

I'd say between 100-200 yards comfortably.

Any and all of the Foxpro remote callers work better if they are elevated off the bare ground. They also work at ranges farther away than is practical for calling animals. Make sure the antenna on the caller AND remote are vertical and you'll experience reliability beyond your expectations.

I set my spitfire on top of a round bale of hay. The remote worked a confirmed distance of 170 yards with a clear line of sight. That is the farthest I have tried mine so far.
