Hi, fellas im new to the forums and just got into hunting preds. I have been hunting crow a little bit but need a little help.What choke and shot size do yall use to bring these thing out of the sky. 12 ga 870 thanx varmint.

I use 2 3/4" 7 1/2 shot with 3 Dram of powder and a mod choke, 28" barrel. Browning B2000 Works for me.

1 3/8 oz. of copper plated 5's in a Gold Medal hull with a RP12 wad. SR 4756 powder lit by a WW209 primer pushes it down the tube at an advertised 1340 fps. Not for the meek but them black buggers are in trouble at some pretty extended ranges! :-)

bin hunting crows for 40 years and i now use a 500 mossberg turkey with a xtra full turkey choke . i load AA hull with 1 1\2 oz 6 shot 33 gr blue dot AA REDS WADS .

Give me a 12 gauge trap load (3 dram) in 7 1/2's or 8's anyday. Modified is pretty hard to beat for an (middle of the road) all around choke.

If you wish too, take a look at the Bob Aronsohn photo section on crow hunting. All the crows in these photos were taken with 7 1/2's and 8's.
