View Full Version : FX3 not being recognized

I'm trying to download a new set of files to my FX3 from my harddrive but when I open up the FOXPRO Programming Utility it does not read my FX3 :confused: ... I can view all my files on the left side (Source) but when I try and choose a drive on the right side (Caller/Device) I get the same message "Device Drive must not match Source Drive" :confused: I've only tried switching files on my FX3 once before on a different computer and I had no problems.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Try choosing "D" or "E" if you have those options.

I can't choose any option, I tried them all...it keeps giving me the same message. I uninstalled the program 3 times and reinstalled it just to see if that's the issue and still it does not recognize the unit.

I'm going to bring the FX3 to my office computer as this is where I downloaded the files the first (only) time without issues.

Brought it to my office computer and it's giving me the same problem :confused: ... looks like I have no choice but to send it in for repairs!

Have you tried calling FoxPro? They may be able to help you over the phone.

Call them before sending it in. Many issues are solved over the phone.

All I have to say is "INCREDIBLE" warranty service...Thank you FoxPro!!! I thought for sure I wouldn't have my unit for at least 2-3 weeks since I'm in Canada but I got it back in 1 week :eek:! FoxPro is up there in my top 3 best warranty service without a doubt! Now it's time to test out the new speakers and my new external speaker! :D

Once again FoxPro Tech Support to the rescue...at least this time I didnt have to send it in. Thanks guys!
