Went to today and I only got one. Miss about 20 of them. Still had alot of fun.
Can you eat crow? I tried a little and it tastes like liver. Anything to make it better? I hate killing something that I can't eat.:(

Hey there,

I would highly recommend to NOT eat any crow, ever!

Can you eat crow?

Yes, but should you? Do a Google search and you'll find recipes.

The thought of eating a bird that eats rotting animal corpses doesn't seem right to me. It'd be like eating a carp out of the river

Went back out there today. Its funny, this is the spot that I go yote hunting and I don't see them but I can hear them. Well after setting up for crow ( just before dawn) I had one walk 10ft from me. I just had bird shot on me. I knew something like this would happen when I don't have other gun on me.

At 10 ft that yote would have been dead. That close bird shot will kill just about anything.

Went out this morning. The temp was 37F and the winds were blowing over 45mph. But I still got some.:)

45 MILES AN HOUR??? I just can't hunt in that kind of wind. It frazzles my hairdo!

Good on ya though. Great photo too.

Be careful of over hunting a crow spot. I only have a couple places to hunt them myself & it hurts but I always allow about a month between stands at each spot. They will wise up within a couple of sets.

Went out today. Got 4 of them. I have notice that only one call really works. Its the crow fight.
How do you guys do your set ups? I used no decoys and they still come in but after I get a couple I use them. (Like sitting in a tree and on the ground by the caller) Also how long do you stay out? I stay for about 4 hours in one spot. I also don't have the caller on all the time. I used it when I hear them or see them.
