Went out again on 10-30-2010 & got set up. I didn't have time to scout the last couple weeks due to work so I just went in blind. I came out way better than I envisioned. All I was really looking for was some peaceful crow shooting with the old 870 & a few co-operative birds. I got a few birds & then some this time. I made 20 good crows out of the flock. Hope you enjoy the pics. :D

The carnage shot. The FX3 is in the middle on a cement block for a little elevation.

Here is one of 2 floaters. The river was only about 8 feet behind me.

I had a visitor this day as well. This is the 1st time I've had a deer this close to my spread. He was a small 6 or 7 pointer.

The blind after one of the many volleys on the AM. There are actually 7 hulls there plus the glove I had to chuck cause it got stuck when I thumbed another shell in the bottom. This volley yielded 4 good crows & the only double of the day.

Hi HP-- I would think you're best crow hunting would be around the end of October into September when the crops 1st come off & their southerly migration begins. At least you got out there & gave em what for!!

Thanks Mike. This crow blasting is a lot of fun. How long have you been making good crows out of live ones. :D

My Wife is from Jefferson Co & I don't hold that against her. :D
