Managed to call one in on Saturday morning while I was standing on the edge of a group of hemlocks. First kill with my new gun👍

What sounds are you using?
Not overly impressed with foxpro crow sounds

Wish I could do JS on the shockwave!
Used them for over 20 years

I hand called for about 5 minutes to this crow and he just wouldn't budge so I turned on Crows 2:1 and he came right in, also been using Crow fight and dying crow with good success.

Wow nice going, did you ever destroy him. What load and choke were you using and how far out was he?

I was using a shell I found in my misc. Box it was a federal high power 4 shot , shot out of a full choke at probably 35 yards.

All the more impressive with full choke. Direct hit.

Yeah their crow sounds are lacking. I am loving the Bob A. sound pack though. The mourning/distress call works wonders for bringing them back off of foxbang.

Why can't you use your JS crow sounds on the Shockwave? Plenty of people use JS sounds on FoxPro ecallers.

Johnny Stewart sounds. You may have to do some looking, but cd's are sold from time to time on eBay. Your Shockwave will play the FoxPro sounds and will also play mp3 and wave files.

i prefer the J S calls aswell , i am now using foxpro calls ,they dont seem very productive until the crows are starting to gather in late August, i also have a cd by Desert Trail Calls titled Frenzied crows that seem to bring them into the trees around my yard and i usually get 1 or 2 with the air rifle , being in town i am limited to 1 or 2 shots and then i am concerned that my nosy neighbour will call the swat team

i have also determined that the magpies are usually first on the scene when the crow call starts up , which is handy as the young maggys are very noisey and there is lots of them
