Default coon calling at night?

I have been reading all this info on daytime coon calling but what about during the night?

Works at night just fine as well. One thing to remember though; a lot of the coons leave the den site at night to go looking for food. This means some dens that would have coons during the day won't have them at night.

I have better luck at night. Went out Sat night but started raining hard as soon as I hit the woods. Did a quick call and got two. What part of Ohio are you in? I'm in NW corner.

if coons dont really come out at night anymore because of the cold can you still call them out of their trees during the day?

yes, matter of fact that's probably your best chance of getting any when the weather gets cold.
