Hello Bob -
The crows are here in South Louisiana. I was going today but the bad weather kept me home. It looks like we are off to a good start this year.

Maybe Sunday we'll get to go also. We finally got a little cooler weather so it should be nice.

Good luck to all crow hunters!

Gadget Bob,

Great to have you hear! Man, 101 in one day? That's awesome. I haven't crow hunted that much, but if I had days like that, it could get addicting (and expensive at the same time!)

Hi Fuzzy,

We usually use number 8 shot, but also 7.5's and 9's. We used to use 6's but find the smaller shot works better.

On that 101 bird shoot earlier this fall, we only shot from one stand.

Good Luck and Good Hunting,

Gadget Bob

crow hunting a blast i like it alot i use an e-caller and mouth calls over decoys i purchased the crippeled crow and added it in to the decoys it works well and as a predator decoy also it flaps its wings like a dying crow bird ect bought it from crow mart on the net its smaller than a crow tho but it works
