Default Nice gray and a trip through the briers

Trying for 20 minutes for coyotes on this property. Mostly coyote vocalizations and a few rabbit sounds. Switched to platinum gray fox around the 20 minute mark and this dude popped out of a thicket and headed toward the call.

he stayed just over a slight rise in the field and with the cut corn stalks I couldn't see him but I knew he was still there as I'd catch some eye shine. Finally back toward the thicket he goes. I managed the fasted shot I could just before he ducked into the briers.

I was sure I hit him but also sure my shot placement wasn't the best since he dove into the thicket and clearly had some adrenaline and motivation to get away. I found the blood trail and after about 15 minutes crawling on my hands and knees through some gnarly stuff I found him.

PS: I am trying to get these pics posted properly but for some reason lately I haven't been able to. I can honestly say I am doing it exactly as I did my first couple dozen posts where I had zero issues.

Your welcome, I hit one place last night, got busted from two different directions within 15 mins of calling. But it was still an awesome time.
