Coyote Assisted Suicide
My hunting buddy was feeling dejected after a miss on a pair we called out, but on the way home this one crossed the highway in front of him and ran down a timber road. He stopped at the road looked down it with the handheld thermal and the coyote was about 50 yds. down the road. He got out of his truck, then got his rifle out, did a few lip squeaks and the coyote turned around and came back to him. He freehanded him at 25 yds. I think he felt redeemed after earlier miss.
