Default Hawk Screams

Iíve noticed over the last couple years of calling that I often call in hawks while on stand. It got me to thinking that if I was able to incorporate a hawk scream here or there that it would add some realism and possibly get a response. Does anyone know of a good hawk scream that can be downloaded to a Foxpro?

Don't know of any downloadable sounds but I have a duck whistle that I learned to do hawk screams on. I also have a hawk call by knight and hale that came in a turkey shock gobble kit. Haven't tried it the way you are wanting to work it but I could get turkeys to gobble with them.

When I was just getting started with hand calls, I killed a lot of coyotes using a hawk scream, followed up immediately by a rabbit scream. I'll have to check my inventory of sounds to see if I have a hawk scream.

Hey Possumal, thanks for the info. I always noticed hawks coming to the call, I figured by incorporating a hawk scream here and there that it might get a response. Itís good to hear youíve had success first hand using that method.

Almost never do animal distress calls anymore.
But when we did we have a LOT of golden eagles come in and owls too.
DEER , any deer in the area would run in and stop at the call...
