The shot is in a plastic cup till it is out of the barrel .
No damage to the gun

I buy 3" Remington #4 buck for 4.80 a box of 5 . Which is less than a dollar a pop .How much r those per shot ?

I use a BPI 3 mil Mylar wrap inside the wad to help prevent any pellets from pushing through the wad petals or between the wad petals.

With TSS shot and Federal Heavyweight shot they both pattern pretty tight so you may not need a real tight choke.
