It's OK, I still call that hunting. You just didn't have to travel far to do it.

Your photo reminds me of two years ago when we had a cat food thief. Turned out to be a opossum. My target Ruger MkII jammed so I ran the thing down in bare feet and pistol whipped it with the Ruger's bull barrel. I don't know if I knocked him out or if he was playing opossum but it gave me plenty of time to get a round chambered to make sure the cat food problem was solved.

I am still after the possum...I know he's stealing some to, his days are numbered also. The coon has 2 cohorts in his crew, so I'm far from having my problem solved.

Sounds like a good idea...I sure want to get the possum, I walked around the corner the other night and he bowed up hissing at me, of course he was long gone before I could arm up....that's ok, I'll get him.
