Ever wonder how far that wounded coyote made it ??? You think you may have hit him but not sure??? There was a bit of blood but he ran into some thick stuff never to be seen again?? Sound firmilar ??? Watch this movie we took of a coyote that was hit hard down thru the front of the shoulder and exited out thru the bottom of the paunch................ 250yd shot from a .243 and 87 Vmax bullets. Check it out!

Glad you enjoyed it , anyone can say how far one went but the movie sorta sets it in stone, it is still hard to believe anything can go that far hit that hard, that shot knocked him flat for about 10 secs and he gather himself up and went out across that lake like I had missed him.................... go figure, a guy always needs to really check it out .

The will to survive. Just look around during the deer season, you will be surprised at how many never get recovered. Knowing your gun, your ability to use it, and the proper bullet and shot placement. Sometimes hunter make a shot and did not notice the animals reaction or made the animal just bolted and it was assumed that it was a clean miss. Happens more then one would think.

When a few animals run that far from smaller calibers like 17 and 20s most will say get a bigger gun or better shot shot placement. Question now to those, Was the 243 caliber to small or just less than perfect shot placement?
