Much the same with the .17P and coyotes. Just plain fun! Even more so now that I have a suppressor on it. Talk about point and "click" .

I'm not offended. I think some of your assertions are just plain wrong and that you don't really understand the subject very well, but I'm not offended.

Good example of an incorrect assertion. The shotgun comments too - just simply incorrect. Others. But I'm not going to try and correct any of them. Not my job .

DAA, your probably right. Some of my assertations could be wrong. I thought you would of known more. Energy delivered from a shotgun at 50yds. Does not even come close to that of a large caliber rifle. Now granted when a round passes thru and animal energy is being dispersed but not like when the round stops inside dumping all its energy. This sends a shock wave thru the animal more. How does a bullet kill. By shock. What's the best bullet? A bullet that enters into the vitals violently expanding, sending scharpmetal everywhere expending all its energy.
Almost always DRT. Because nothing is 100%. Fur damage, is only size of the entry hole only.
Now can you speed up or slow down a bullet to achieve this. YES. Now when using rifles and you have complete penetration thru and thru, you will have more runners then you do with shotguns, of coarse given the same range. Why? When in fact the rifle bullet has more energy. The shotgun delivered what ? Complete energy dump, complete shock.
FUR:
So, to save time sewing fur keep your rounds inside the animal. Pick your shots. If you cant reach them, call them in closer, that's why your there.

Now did you understand what I meant. Buy best bullet, best caliber and how to achieve the best.

Default Still a pulse I guess.......

Reminds me of a very annoying nursery rhyme....

Quote:
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
round and round,
round and round.
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
all day long
.....y'all know the rest.....but we really don't need to hear it do we?.....; )

The subject has been beaten to death. Lets relax and process what we've learned.
