What’s everyone’s thoughts on thermal scopes? I am in the early stages of looking for one. I just sold an IR scope. Not much use if you have to have light to make it work.

IMO, thermal scopes are WAY better than night vision scopes. Selecting a thermal scope depends on your budget. Pulsar, AGM and Hogster all have models to fit every budget. Check out reviews on line and speak to hunters, maybe accompany them and check out their gear

I just purchased a night vision scope. A sightmark wraith, couldn't afford thermal. Anyone using the sightmark? How do you like or dis like it.

I had a sightmark Photon Xt. Trading for a thermal. I was told to really make the IR scopes work you need an additional IR light.

Do any of you own an ATN thermal scope? Seems like for the price you get some pretty good options.

When using thermal or night vision are you guys standing most of the time with tripod? Iv been sitting and it's been awkward trying to scan.

I just bought one for my nephew and it is fantastic. It is a
Pulsar Thermion XQ38 and wow it is incredible. The price is $3200 but it is very impressive. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting great thermal scope. Look at the YouTube videos and it is worth the coin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
