Default Update firmware on remote

Was on a set today , just started things up and I see on my remote some kind of warning I believe it said " Plug in and update firmware" or something like that. I was paniced and tried to turn it off as I just went 1/2 mile on snowshoes to get to this place. Anyone know what this is ? and what I'm to do ?

You just need to do what it said to do. I don't think it would keep you from hunting on the day you had that happen. It is like a firmware update on your television setup.
