Default One looked like two

Went to check my trail camera with the family and escape the heat this morning. Thought we had a small buck with a doe behind it. Turned out to be the same deer different sides when we got back home and looked at it on the computer instead of the camera's little screen. Not the biggest deer but most interesting.

One antler? I'd still shoot him.

I have the horns from a 3 by 4 mule deer next to a 7 point whitetail. Helps explain the difference in how you count points between the two species of deer. These antlers would only add to that conversation.
