Default -30* 3 mph wind or -20* and 6 mph ?????

There calling for around -30* on Saturday but only 3 mph wind.
On a remote large lake up north
Me and the boy are planning an ice calling coyote trip .
Dang that'll bring tears to your eyes.
BUT better not they will freeze shut.

We'll start digging out the snowmobile and trailer at my son's yard.
I have 30" of snow on my pick nick table right now and we will get some more.
I looked at a closer water foul production lake , the temps will only be around -20* but twice the wind at 6 mph we may go there instead ????

The one up north is about 100 miles away and is one LOOONG ride and hunt. The other is only 60 miles and is several shorter rides, more opportunities to warm up at the truck.
???????????
Still planning.

PS;

I ordered a roof snow rake to try and get some of the "snow load" off the boat ports...

Hope it gets here in time.

Once it gets that cold, a few degrees, don't make much difference.
I would probably choose the lesser drive, if the wind is to be ok for that location.
I'm getting too old for 2+ hours rides.

-20 or -30 Heck when it gets -zero anything below that doesn't really make much difference in my books, these ole bones are having enough trouble when it is in the single digits then add in a wind sounds like a good day to stay at the house in front of the fireplace.
