Question Preliminary/prehistoric camera mount

So do you all think this will work? Imagine that the pencil is the gun barrel. I am in a coyote hunt this weekend and am not able to get a real gun camera mount. Going to test it out tonight after work. Give me your thoughts please.

Thumbs up Camera Mount for Gun

Well I got it to work. I'm thinking of installing a quick release on it so I can take it on and off as needed. I went and test fired it as is and it worked...the "shake" from the recoil didn't look any worse than the real thing!!! Needless to say I am pretty pumped!!!

Now I'm excited! I love this kind of thing. What caliber is that rifle?
Looking forward to seeing some videos posted.

It's a 30-6 shooting a Ballistic Silvertip...I would love a smaller caliber like a 223, but then again I might lose a little dog contest in a calling tourney then. If they allow I will post some video's. Hopefully the moderator will let me know on this, haven't asked though yet....need some video first.

Post your video on YouTube then put the link on here.

When I first started, my regular "predator" rifle was also my deer, antelope, bear and elk rifle. Killed 'em dead just fine.

Default Gun Mount in Action

>>>Gun Mount in Action<<< Like I said, it's not the best, but it will do and it is better than going a gun down in a coyote video calling contest!!! It's also a video of a video...much easier to upload via HTC Android than hooking up all those wires...LOL
