I returned on my turkey hunting trip with no bird for 4 of us. Most of the time we were in the right area, but wrong spot. What's worse is that there seemed to be more hunters than birds this year.

My (retired) Father and I are serious about finding a new area. We have been hunting West Klickitat (Washington State) for years, but we are ready for a change. Somewhere closer to home that still has birds. However, that means learning a new area.

One of the areas/ regions we are going to look at is around Ellensburg area and North to Leavenworth. Does anyone have turkey hunting information on those areas?

I'd appreciate the feedback. I know that there are more birds around Kettle Falls & Colville, but when hunting with family it's a long drive with no chance of scouting.

Thanks.
