MRI's and catscan show the fracture to be between the 4th and 5th vertebrae, with a real possibility it is not a new fracture. Main problem is that the pinched nerve is the sciatic nerve, and it is inflamed so bad that it has to be corrected before the neuro-surgeon can do anything like epoxy surgery. She is going to be put into Cardinal Hill for treatment to correct that situation and then she'll be ambulance transported back to the surgeon for further plans. At least, they have the extreme pain more in control, and have her on medication with a plan for rehab. The surgeon says Cardinal Hill treatment could take as long as a month.

Got her moved to Cardinal Hill today. They have met with her and given her a good idea of the work ahead. More later.

Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers. This whole deal is putting me through as tough a test as I have ever encountered. My wife is doing her part, so I'll have to do mine.

I know it's difficult, but hang in there. Many people have you on their prayer lists. You are always welcome to vent, ask for support and encouragement.

Just brought Nedra home from Cardinal Hill today. Next step is in home physical therapy with follow ups to the neuro surgeon, and a pain management doctor who gives shots in the affected area.

I'm thinking you and Nedra are glad she's home. Praying the road to full recovery is short and smooth.
