Default Frigid Clowns

MD Archer and I met a couple really nice folks last night who were interested in night hunting.....so we gathered up our gear and took them out....bet they didn't know these two clowns could get it done......welcome to the circus of night hunting...

...it all started with my tripod busting and having to use bipods fully extended and standing....still able to pick off a 300+ yard red....but as I told the kind folks who were with us....sometimes you just get lucky....; )

Thanks. I've always been a bit nervous shooting at that distance at night when standing. Sitting on my folding stand chair no issue....but standing, with those bipods my mind was wobbling more than the scope dot.

Default Fyi

For those who have the older Bog Pod where the legs twist to loosen/lock I have a fix if your legs if they suddenly just spin and never lock up.

Just yank the leg out of top tube. There will be red plastic pieces, and black collar at bottom. They are on a threaded "screw". Line them all up so the "groove" is aligned. Hold in place and twist the leg as if you are tightening. Only a few turns until they reach the bottom. Insert back into the tube and tighten. That's all there is to it.

Thanks to a PHM member who had the same thing happen to him. The cause is loosening too much and over time once the pieces reach the top and the expanding piece won't catch and "lock".

Crazy design.....I have the newer HD Pog Pods on order that have the lever locks. Much better in my opinion.

Thanks SB.....Archer and I haven't hunted a whole lot together this year. It was great to be out with him and the new folks.....always great to introduce new predator hunters to the night, and see the excitement in their eyes!
