Default 44 yard heart shot on small bull!

Last week of archery and the pressure was starting to attack! All the effort and time we put in for season to not even getting a shot can be devastating! But last night had some bulls talking and this guy decided to work his way in! I couldn’t pass up the chance. He worked his way down wind . When he hit the edge of my scent cone he stopped. And held for a 44 yard shot. I put it on his vitals and took my shot . The lummenock went right behind the shoulder and disappeared! The bull ran 60 yard and stopped and was done. I shoot a 658 grain arrow. 200 grain single Bevel broadhead with a 150 grain insert. 250 spine carnivore black eagle. It went into the muscle of the first leg through the ribs into the heart and ended up breaking his opposite side front leg . Couldn’t ask for a better result ! My wife and dad helped me load it up . I shot at 7:05 and we got it gutted, loaded, got it home, skinned and hung by 11:45

Update: we processed the elk last night and while doing the opposite right shoulder we discovered where the broadhead actually snapped the bone
