Default Easy dog

Well itís been awhile since Iíve been on here, after getting all moved in and settled I was able to go out, and explore the new areas I could hunt! My wife and I decided to go on a drive with the puppy and go learn some roads. I decided to try this spot while they both waited in the truck.

I set up near a logged area that had some timber on the edge of this logged area and a meadow on the other side. The meadow was private. I put on my go to sound and basically ran it the entire time, 9 mins in and I spot a coyote heading straight for me in the meadow. It took its time which allowed for my heart to really get going . It swung around a big fallen tree where I couldnít pin point exactly where she would pop out at. Till she showed up about 90 yards away right next to a stump. She peeked my direction for a second, then turned away to smell the ground behind her. I turned back on the shockwave and she turned back towards me and presented a good facing shot! Drilled her and got to bring back a new smell for the puppy !
Nothing can bring energy back into a predator hunter like new coyote stands close to home!
